EXPLORE LOCH TAY

Loch Tay has been inhabited since long before the Iron Age, when the Loch was home to about many crannogs. Crannogs are ancient loch-buildings, built on man-made islands in the water. They were usually circular houses set on stone bases or wooden stilts, reached by secret underwater causeways, whose location was known only to their inhabitants. Their purpose was for shelter in times of danger for both people and livestock. Visit our local recreation when you visit.

"A Relaxed Stay Overlooking Loch Tay"

By

Our group of 10 stayed here and were blown away by the views over Loch Tay from the rooftop terrace. The house is beautifully furnished, and the living room with its wood-burning stove was cozy in the evenings. The kitchen was well equipped, though we wished for a second oven for big group meals. Check-in was smooth at 4 pm, check-out by 10 am. No pets or smoking allowed, and we appreciated the peaceful, no-noise environment.
